GENERAL TAO CHICKEN MEATBALLS BY CHEF JONATHAN MAYER

For the meatballs: 1 lb ground chicken 2 tsp grated ginger 2 tsp minced garlic 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs 2 eggs Salt and pepper For the sauce: 1/2 cup ketchup 1/4 cup soy sauce 2 tbsp oyster sauce 2 tbsp sesame seeds 2 tbsp chopped green onions 1 tbsp chopped ginger 2 cloves garlic, chopped 1 tsp honey 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil Instructions: In a bowl, mix all meatball ingredients and shape into 12 meatballs. In a non-stick pan, brown the meatballs in a little oil. Set aside in an ovenproof dish. In a bowl, combine all sauce ingredients and adjust seasoning to taste. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and continue cooking them at 350°F for 15 to 18 minutes. Enjoy your meal.
