BACON JAM BY CHEF JONATHAN MAYER

Preparation and cooking time: 20 minutes Meat: 1 lb of bacon, coarsely cut Ingredients: 1/4 cup chopped onion 1 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp chili flakes 1/2 cup coffee 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup maple syrup Instructions: Heat up onion until translucent. Add bacon, cook until it begins to crisp. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes until reaching a smooth texture. Blend in a food processor. Enjoy your meal.
