CURRY AND MAPLE PORK CHOP BY CHEF JONATHAN MAYER

Meat: 2 pork chops, approx 1cm Ingredients: 2 tbsp olive oil Salt and pepper 2 tbsp butter 1 French shallot, minced 2 tsp curry powder 1 cup beef broth 1/3 cup maple syrup 1 tbsp old fashioned mustard Instructions: In a skillet over medium heat, sear chops on each side for 2 minutes, set aside. In the same pan, cook the shallot for about 2 minutes or until it becomes translucent, add the rest of the ingredients, reduce until consistency is syrupy, add the chops and continue cooking for 10 minutes. Serve with your best mashed potatoes and your favorite vegetables. Enjoy your meal.
