    Description

    225g Medium Weight Black Angus Tenderloin, No Hormones Added. The pieces of meat are frozen under vacuum. 

    What is that? 

    Filet mignon is the most tender and moist of steaks, a real treat!

    It comes from a part of the beef where the muscle is less stressed, which makes the meat leaner. It has no nerve bands and has very little fat.  

    This piece of meat offers a very fine flesh and has a uniform texture, its taste is thus much more delicate and tasty. It is best when seared briskly over the heat, served rare or medium-rare. Be careful not to overcook the filet mignon, otherwise the meat will become dry. 

    Very popular on the barbecue, it will melt in your mouth if cooked successfully. The name "mignon" would also come from the size of the cut of meat, but also from its finesse and delicacy in the mouth.

    To enhance the taste, simply add salt and pepper as a seasoning. Your taste buds will thank you!
