    Description

    Your choice of one, three or five AAA filet mignons, average weight of 225 g, without added hormones. The pieces of meat are vacuum frozen.

    What is it? 

    Filet mignon is the tenderest and most succulent of all steaks, a real treat!

    It comes from the part of the beef where the muscles are least used, making the meat leaner. It has no sinew and very little fat.  

    This piece of meat has very fine flesh and uniform texture, making its taste much more delicate and flavourful. It is best when seared over a fire and served rare or medium rare. Avoid overcooking the tenderloin or the meat will become dry. 

    Very popular on the barbecue, this cut will melt in your mouth if cooked properly. The name “mignon” (which has several meanings in French, including “cute,” “dainty” and “tender”) refers to the size of the cut of meat, but also to its finesse and delicacy.

    To enhance the taste, simply add salt and pepper as seasoning. Your taste buds will thank you!
