A Tomahawk steak is a rib steak with a thicker cut of about 2 inches, making it juicier and more flavourful. This cut of meat is served with a big protruding bone which makes it easier to handle and gives it a wild, primitive look. The name Tomahawk comes from this very bone, which is reminiscent of native axes.
You can have this piece of meat all by yourself, share it between two people, or serve it as an appetizer for a full table (4 people).
